What is Sermorelin Prescribed For?

How Does Sermorelin Work?

Sermorelin can significantly promote the synthesis and release of growth hormone (GH) from cells in the pituitary gland, improving the serum concentrations of GH and subsequently insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) in animals and humans.

What to Expect

When taking sermorelin injections, individuals may experience a variety of physical and psychological effects due to the increase in growth hormone levels. Effects are usually felt in 2 to 6 months.

Contraindications

Avoid use of semorelin in individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or who have a history or epilepsy, untreated hypothyroidism, or hyperglycemia.

If you are or will be breast-feeding while you are using sermorelin acetate, check with your doctor or pharmacist to discuss the risks to your baby.
