Inside the Health Stack of Max Marchione: Founder, Investor and Human Enhancement Advocate

Max Marchione

Supowerpower founder Max Marchione shares his health philosophy, daily wellness routine and the tools he uses to optimize performance with this Q&A with Workup's Ryan Frankel.

At Workup, we’re always drawn to individuals who not only optimize their own health but actively build solutions to help others do the same. Max Marchione is one of those rare people. As the founder of Superpower, Max is reimagining healthcare with a mission to prevent disease and enhance human potential. He’s also a longevity investor, systems thinker, and deeply curious health optimizer.

We sat down with Max to learn more about his philosophy on health, the daily rituals he swears by, and the personal health stack powering his work and life.

Q&A with Max Marchione

Ryan: Tell us about yourself—what do you do for a living, and how do you spend your time?

Max: I’m the founder of Superpower.com, a new healthcare system designed to prevent disease and enhance human capabilities. I also invest in companies focused on longevity, deep tech, and human enhancement. That’s my version of work, but I’ll say this—I don’t really subscribe to the “work-life balance” mindset. There’s no such thing as work. There’s only life. And I choose to spend mine building and investing in things I care about.

When I’m not doing that, you’ll probably find me reading a great book, optimizing my health stack, sipping red wine, admiring beautiful architecture, eating something memorable, or skiing.

Ryan: What role does health and wellness play in your life?

Max: Health is everything. Existence is the most important thing in existence, and health ensures both the quality and longevity of that existence. To me, taking care of your health is the highest form of self-respect and the ultimate investment in your life.

Ryan: Walk us through your personal health protocol. What do you do to optimize your energy, clarity, and longevity?

Max: I view health as a tool to help me be smarter, more energetic, happier, and live longer. It’s not just about avoiding illness—it’s about upgrading the quality of my life.

I take around 30 supplements a day, targeted at micronutrient and mineral balance, hormonal health, and sleep. I believe modern life makes it difficult to be healthy by default, so supplementation becomes a valuable tool.

My morning starts with an oral health ritual: coconut oil pulling, tongue scraping, and Quinton electrolytes. Then I hit the gym and follow that with a large smoothie—usually 10 to 20 ingredients deep.

My work environment is designed for health too: filtered air and water, natural light, a walking treadmill, standing desk, and high-res monitor to reduce eye strain. And at night, I use a refined sleep stack I’ve been testing for over a decade—because I used to spend 2–3 hours just trying to fall asleep.

Ryan: What advice would you give to someone just starting out on their health journey?

Max: Live with—or around—people who are healthy. Environment and identity are massive levers. Once those are aligned, so much of health becomes frictionless.

And because most people won’t change their environment? Obsess over your gut health. It’s the foundation.

Ryan: What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

Max: I wanted to be an architect when I was younger. Someday, I’d still love to build a new city.

Max Marchione’s Health Stack

Here’s a look at a few of the tools Max relies on to maintain his edge—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

1. Superpower

Why he uses it: “It’s my go-to platform for blood testing, toxin screening, gut health analysis, and reviewing all of my lab data in one place. I can also message my concierge medical team directly.”

How often: Regular testing intervals as part of an ongoing protocol.

Category: Essential. It’s the backbone of his health intelligence system.

2. Oura Ring

Why he uses it: “I use it primarily for tracking HRV rather than sleep. It’s a window into my nervous system, recovery, and stress levels.”

How often: Worn daily.

Category: Essential. Especially valuable for understanding long-term trends in recovery and readiness.

3. Walking Treadmill Desk

Why he uses it: “It helps me get extra steps in during the workday and counters the sedentary nature of modern life.”

How often: Used throughout the workday.

Category: Game-changer. A practical tool to integrate movement into focused work.

4. Noots Nootropics

Why he uses them: “To boost cognitive performance and increase productivity during deep work sessions.”

How often: As needed, during high-focus work blocks.

Category: Performance tool. Useful when dialed in with intention.

Final Takeaway

Max Marchione doesn’t just talk about health optimization—he embodies it. With a structured approach to personal data, a dialed-in protocol, and a mission to transform the healthcare system, he’s helping redefine what it means to be well in the modern world.

“When you solve your environment and identity, you solve for so many parts of health at the same time.”

We couldn’t agree more.
